Network Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team at Rudytech. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring the stability and integrity of voice, data, video, and wireless network services. You will optimize all network hardware, software, and communication links.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design and Implementation:

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).

• Configure and install network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).

• Perform network address assignment and subnetting.

Network Maintenance and Support:

• Monitor network performance and ensure availability and reliability.

• Perform maintenance and system upgrades, including patches and security configurations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues.

Security Management:

• Implement and manage security measures to protect network data and hardware.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

• Manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security appliances.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, standards, and procedures.

• Generate reports on network status and performance.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work with IT staff to design and implement network solutions.

• Provide technical support and training to staff.

• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience: Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role with hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching.

• Certifications: Preferred certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
