Overview


We are looking for an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join our team at Rudytech. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain telecommunications systems and networks, ensuring efficient and reliable voice and data communication across our infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities


Network Design and Implementation:

Design, install, and configure voice, data, and video communication networks.
Develop and implement network infrastructure to support business needs.
Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.


System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Monitor and maintain telecommunications systems for optimal performance.
Diagnose and resolve network issues and service disruptions.
Perform regular maintenance and updates on network hardware and software.


Security and Compliance:

Implement security measures to protect telecommunications infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits.


Technical Support:

Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and customers.
Assist with the installation and configuration of telecommunications equipment.
Train staff on the use of telecommunications systems.


Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and procedures.
Generate reports on network performance and security status.
Develop and update disaster recovery plans.


Collaboration:

Collaborate with IT professionals and departments to integrate telecommunications systems.
Work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and improve services.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Telecommunications Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in telecommunications systems and networking hardware.

  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
